Part Two: Stacey Farber and Rebecca Dalton Have Made Their Own Mark
Stacey Farber has taken a very different route to Hallmark recognition. She became widely known for playing Ellie Nash on Degrassi: The Next Generation, later appearing in series including Saving Hope, Schitt’s Creek, Virgin River, Superman & Lois, and The Spencer Sisters. Hallmark audiences have seen her in Butlers in Love, A Season for Family, I’ll Be Seeing You, and Hanukkah on the Rocks.
What makes Farber stand out is the versatility that comes from working across comedy and drama. Her characters do not have to be larger than life to be memorable. Rebecca Dalton brings another kind of energy. Her television career includes Spun Out and Good Witch, where she played Tara for several seasons. She has also appeared in Hallmark productions including A Perfect Christmas, The Santa Squad, The Dog Lover’s Guide to Dating, To Philly with Love, and Head Over Heels.
Dalton has a particularly natural connection to the lighter, comforting side of television romance. There is a warmth to her performances that allows characters to remain accessible without losing individuality. Her work is a reminder that a successful romantic movie depends on more than simply convincing audiences that two characters should fall in love. Viewers need to care about the people involved.
Away from acting, Dalton has been married to former IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe since 2019. Her personal life is separate from her professional performances, but her career has continued to develop alongside that chapter of her life.
