A Little Mistake With the Potential to Change Everything
There is something irresistible about a love story that begins with a mistake. In Love Finds You, that mistake comes in the form of a mislabeled package, but what follows is much more than a simple mix-up. The new Hallmark Channel romance pairs Aimeé Teegarden as Alex, a jewelry designer, with Chris McNally as Jack, a delivery driver, for a story about expectations, surprises and the possibility that love may not look quite the way we imagined it would.
Hallmark describes the story as one in which Alex becomes convinced that a mislabeled package has led her to her ideal man. That belief sends her and Jack on a citywide search, one that ultimately helps both of them discover what they truly want. The movie premieres Saturday, August 22, at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel, with a next-day stream on Hallmark+.
And for viewers who have been waiting for another chance to see Chris McNally in a Hallmark romance, this one has plenty of reason to stand out. McNally has become especially familiar to Hallmark audiences through his role as Lucas Bouchard on When Calls the Heart, where his character grew into one of Hope Valley’s central figures. Hallmark notes that McNally has also appeared in a wide range of television projects, including Lucifer, Falling Skies, Supernatural and Altered Carbon, along with numerous television movies.
That history makes Jack particularly intriguing. Audiences already know that McNally can bring warmth, confidence and emotional depth to a romantic role, but Love Finds You gives him a completely different setting. Instead of the historical world of Hope Valley, he steps into a contemporary romantic comedy built around deliveries, mistaken assumptions and an unexpected connection.
For fans, that change of scenery alone is exciting. There is something fun about seeing a familiar Hallmark favorite enter a completely new kind of love story and discovering how he fits into it.
